George Kennard

*George* *Kennard* has been a Master Glass Maker at The Corning Museum of Glass since 2001, after spending eight years working in private studios. He began his tenure at the Museum as an instructor in The Studio of The Corning Museum of *Glass*, teaching beginning and continuing classes in glassblowing. *Kennard* enjoys the limitless opportunities for creating with molten *glass* and prefers making largest scaled incalmo pieces even seen in the world, by joining two or more blown *glass* bubbles to create different bands of colors and canes. George really has a deep passion for the material and pushing himself and others of the possibilities of not only the glass but ones self.
